MARTIN at Holz-Handwerk 2020

If you want to do a good job, you need a good tool.

Holz-Handwerk in Nuremberg, the most important trade fair of the year in the woodworking sector, is approaching rapidly. On more than 300 square meters, the Bavarian manufacturer MARTIN is going to present premium machinery for profes-sional woodworking to trade show visitors from all over the world.
Holz-Handwerk as well as Fensterbau Frontale, which both take place from March 18 to March 21, 2020, attract more than one hundred thousand trade visitors every two years.

At stand 303, hall 9, the quality market leader will be presenting its complete range of sliding table saws, moulders, tilting arbor spindle moulders, thickness and surface planers as well as the Q-FIN, a special sanding machine for window production.

“We at MARTIN are very proud to present state-of-the-art woodworking machinery to the expert public once again. The satisfaction of our customers is what drives us”, states Michael Mühldorfer, marketing director at MARTIN.
As highlight at this year’s exhibition, the company will present its special sanding machine Q-FIN, which underwent further technical improvement.

In order to eliminate intermediate sanding in the glazing bead area, MARTIN technicians have developed a chamfering unit for the Q-FIN, which has been awarded the German Innovation Award in Gold. Now even this small but important area can be processed with the Q-FIN technology. Apart from that, the brushing units can now be positioned electromotorically.

“With the chamfering unit, which comes as standard now, we have once again noticeably increased the performance of this machine”, Michael Mühldorfer, marketing director at MARTIN is certain.
Now not only the two main visible surfaces of a window scantling are perfectly prepared for coating, but also the beveled surfaces facing the glass. Both the profiled scantling and the glazing bead area can now be prepared on all relevant surfaces in order to omit tiresome and expensive intermediate sanding.
The brushing units on the sides, adjustable via control, now as standard, reduce the set-up time on the Q-FIN once again. Like the chamfering unit, both units are adjusted quickly and precisely by touch control.
“‘This offers the window manufacturer considerable savings potential and also quality advantages“, Mühldorfer adds.
“Our sliding table saws have always been standing for premium class woodworking. Many functions you might not have thought about complete all of our machines from the entry-level class to our premium line. And they actually leave nothing to be desired”, Mühldorfer is sure. The RadioCompens System for example: it easily and almost automatically calculates length compensation, double miter cuts and saw blade thickness compensation. At the outset of the 2000s MARTIN already developed groundbreaking machine technology with the world’s first moulder with a spindle that could be tilted to both sides. “We are pleased to present our range of extremely powerful T27 spindle moulders”, Michael Mühldorfer continues. “Our customers are particularly enthusiastic about the control system’s potential. Experience how to complete even the most complex set-up processes in seconds. You will hardly find a controller on the market that combines performance and ease of operation so perfectly,” emphasizes Michael Mühldorfer.

To respond to the needs of plastic processing companies at the leading trade show for woodworking and wood processing, MARTIN is going to present a machine perfectly adapted to planning plastics in addition to a „normal“ pair of planers with Xplane cutter block.
