MARTIN at LIGNA 2019

MARTIN Ligna 2019

LIGNA in Hanover, the most important trade show of the year in the industry, is approaching rapidly. On more than 400 square metres, the Bavarian manufacturer MARTIN is going to present premium machinery for professional woodworking to the international trade show visitors.

The world’s leading trade show for woodworking and wood processing at the Exhibition Centre in Hanover, which takes place from May 27 to 31, 2019, attracts more than one hundred thousand trade visitors every two years.

At stand E30, hall 12, the quality market leader will be presenting its complete range of sliding table saws, moulders, tilting arbor spindle moulders, thickness and surface planers as well as the Q-FIN, a special sanding machine for window production.

“We at MARTIN are very proud to present state-of-the-art woodworking machinery to the expert public once again. The satisfaction of our customers is what drives us”, states Michael Mühldorfer, marketing director at MARTIN. As highlight at this year’s LIGNA the company will present its sliding table saw range in a completely new design. The facelift convinces with a uniform and fresh appearance of the whole line. Even the user interface and the control software shine with a new look.

Visitors can look forward to the facelift of the popular T75 sliding table saw. “Since the presentation of the first sliding table saw worldwide, with a saw blade that could be tilted to both sides in 2006, this MARTIN invention has become widely accepted today. Numerous manufacturers have followed this trend and now offer similar technologies. But the original is only available at MARTIN”, Michael Mühldorfer is certain.

“Our sliding table saws have always been synonymous for premi-um class woodworking. Many functions you might not have thought about in the beginning complete all of our machines from the entry-level class to our premium line. And they actually leave nothing to be desired,” Mühldorfer is sure. The RadioCompens System for example: it easily and almost automatically calculates length compensation, double mitre cuts and saw blade thickness compensation.

MARTIN already initiated groundbreaking machine technology at the outset of the 2000s with the world’s first moulder with a spindle that could be tilted to both sides. “We are pleased to present our range of extremely powerful T27 spindle moulders”, Michael Mühldorfer continues. “Our customers are particularly enthusiastic about the control system’s potential. Experience how to complete even the most complex set-up processes in seconds. You will hardly find a controller on the market that combines performance and ease of operation so perfectly,” emphasizes Michael Mühldorfer.

To respond to the needs of plastic processing companies at the leading trade show for woodworking and wood processing, MARTIN is going to present a machine perfectly adapted to planning plastics in addition to a „normal“ pair of planers with Xplane cutter block.

For window manufacturers MARTIN in the truest sense of the word has ushered a new era with the Quality Finishing process. In window construction, sanding between coats is one of the least popular and most expensive work processes. However, alongside the in-between sanding process, the frames also have to be transported, laid and turned. That is all time-consuming work prone to damages. And above all it is expensive. Here the „Quality Finishing“ process takes effect. In-between sanding of surfaces which are prepared with the “Q-FIN” can be omitted almost completely and so the related handling naturally too.
“Be ready for a new era in wood window production and experience how Quality Finishing from MARTIN works at LIGNA in May”, concludes Michael Mühldorfer.
